More than 43,000 notaries of your fellow Pennsylvania notaries public are members of the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries (PAN). That is over half of the entire notary public population in Pennsylvania. We must be doing something right!

By joining PAN, we work for you. As a member of the Association, you will benefit from PAN's expertise in the notary public field. After all, we have been serving notaries public in Pennsylvania for years!

Note: The length of your membership is determined by your commission expiration date.

Step 3: Add a Notary Bond

If you are becoming a notary or renewing your commission, PAN can process your bond. When you receive your blank bond form from the Department of State please mail or fax the form to PAN at 800-707-7075. It will be completed and returned to you promptly so you can take the bond to the recorder of deeds and be sworn in. One bond covers your entire four-year term.

Other companies charge as much as $100. Let PAN process your bond for a low price of $30.

Step 4: Add Notary Public E&O Insurance

Notary Public Errors and Omissions Insurance is protection for the notary when a mistake is made fulfilling the notarial role - a mistake that causes your customer to suffer financial loss. It protects you if you are ever sued for your actions. Even if you never make a mistake, there is always a possibility that you may be falsely accused of wrongdoing.
