From Education and Examination to a New Notary Act & Everything In-Between

The new notary public law contains fundamental changes in the way Pennsylvania notaries fulfill their notarial duties.

RULONA, Pennsylvania’s new notary law, became effective on October 26, 2017. PAN has created a variety of resources, including a free white paper covering all aspects of the new notary law that Pennsylvania notaries need to know and follow.

PAN also has exclusive information for our members on our Web site under the Member Portal, including a RULONA Overview Course, tutorials on notary application, identifying your customer, certified or attested copy or deposition, verification on oath or affirmation, and a notary examination prep study guide.

If any PAN members have questions about RULONA, please call or chat with our Customer Service Department at 1-800-944-8790, Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or E-mail us at [email protected].
