PennDOT will begin supporting dealers, agents and messengers in the 24 northwest and north central counties that transitioned to the yellow phase on Friday, May 8, 2020, by processing mailed-in plate orders.

These counties are: Bradford, Cameron, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Jefferson, Lawrence, Lycoming, McKean, Mercer, Montour, Northumberland, Potter, Snyder, Sullivan, Tioga, Union, Venango, and Warren.

PennDOT will continue supporting dealers throughout the state that participate in PennDOT’s online registration program (OLRP) by processing mailed-in plate orders.

Any paperwork prior to March 19, 2020, should be held onto by dealers. PennDOT will send instructions on how to handle that paperwork once the Harrisburg Riverfront Office Center location is open and fully operational.

PennDOT offices in Harrisburg are still closed and there is no counter service access available for business partners. No messenger work can be dropped off or carried in to PennDOT’s building.

As of Friday, May 8, 2020, the following driver license centers have reopened with limited services:

• Erie Driver and Photo License Center, 7200 Peach St., Suite 480, Erie
• Selinsgrove Driver and Photo License Center, 1015 Route 522, Selinsgrove
• Williamsport Driver and Photo License Center, 1782 East Third St., Williamsport

Hours of operation for these centers are Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday hours between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. are designated times for customers 60 years or older.

The 13 counties in western Pennsylvania that the governor announced will become yellow phase counties will received related information from PennDOT. These counties are: Allegheny, Armstrong, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Fayette, Fulton, Greene, Indiana, Somerset, Washington and Westmoreland.

The governor has extended the virus stay-at-home order until June 4, 2020 for all counties in the red phase.
