Notary Notes

Enjoy Helping People?

by PAN

Have you ever thought about using your notary skills to help others?

We are thrilled to announce a new program aimed at connecting PAN members with organizations that need notary services. PAN’s Volunteer Connection (PVC) is a pipeline to community organizations in search of volunteers to assist individuals requiring notary services.

Members who join PVC can sign up for volunteer opportunities in their immediate areas. Options include sign-ups for special events only, such as Wounded Warriors or Wills for Heroes, or for helping senior citizens, hospital patients, residents of women’s shelters and City Mission residents with their notary needs.

PAN Customer Service Representative DeAnna DeMart is leading the charge on this new community outreach program. In addition to volunteering your time and notary skills, DeAnna is also searching for organizations that need volunteer notaries.

“I have volunteered a lot of my time to different organizations in Pittsburgh and find it to be very rewarding,” said DeAnna. “I’m really excited to be spearheading PAN’s Volunteer Connection and providing information for our members to help them volunteer in their counties and communities.”

For more information on PAN’s Volunteer Connection (PVC), please call DeAnna at 1-800-944-8790, Ext. 105 or E-mail her at [email protected].
