PAN Member Seeks Nomination for Recorder of Deeds
Bob Williams, a longtime real estate professional and PAN member, is seeking the Democratic nomination for recorder of deeds for Beaver County.
Bob holds professional licenses in real estate and title insurance and as a real estate instructor for the state. He also serves as chairman of the Hopewell Township planning commission.
"As a professional in the real estate field in this county for over four decades, and with my governmental experience, I feel that I bring a unique blend of competencies that make me the best candidate to continue pushing the recorder of deeds office into the 21st century," said Bob, a resident of Hopewell Township. "I look forward to meeting people across the county, hearing their concerns, and sharing my vision for what we can do to enhance the constituent service experience for all who work with the recorder of deeds office."
He previously served as president of the Beaver County Association of Realtors twice and district vice president of the state association three times. He also served as political coordinator for Congressmen John Murtha and Mark Gritz.
A graduate of the Community College of Beaver County, Bob is a two-time Realtor of the Year for Pennsylvania. He is a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Hopewell and a past grand knight of the Knights of Columbus.
If elected, Bob said he plans to work closely with those who use the office, particularly for property research. He wants to modernize the office and focus on accurate record keeping and public service to those who use its services.
He and his wife Louann have two chidlren and one granddaughter.
