Charity Auction Nets $2,204 for Vets
The recipient of PAN's third annual charity auction, held in October, received a check for $2,204, thanks to the generosity of PAN management and staff.
Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania was chosen as the local organization to receive the auction's proceeds through a vote by management and staff. The program provides housing, employment and other vital services to eligible veterans, service members and their families.
PAN staff stepped up and brought in items for the auction, including a handcrafted jeweled lighted Christmas tree, a crystal hockey puck commemorating the Pittsburgh Penguins' 2017 Stanley Cup championship and everything in-between. Bidding for the more than 50 items was fast, furious and fun.
Our auctioneer for the third year in a row was Lee Doran of Doran Auctions and Appraisal Service in Beaver Falls. He did a great job and we're very happy he was able to volunteer his services for our auction.
