PAN President Attends National PRIA Conference
For the 20th year, PAN President and CEO Marc L. Aronson attended and participated in the national Property Records Industry Association's (PRIA) annual meeting. This year's meeting was held August 27-30 in Providence, Rhode Island.
In addition to attending various presentations focusing on electronic notarization, the mortgage process, document rejection best practices, and electronic records preservation, among others, Marc attended the PRIA board meeting as part of a select committee who advises the PRIA president.
The keynote speaker for the conference was Loretta LaRoche, an internationally renowned author and stress management consultant who advocates humor, optimism and resiliency as coping mechanisms. She had the audience laughing throughout her presentation. Other presenters included Rich Bramhall, of Westcore Land Title, and PRIA President Mark Ladd.
The Property Records Industry Association, which devleops and promotes national standards and best practices for the property records industry, now has 647 members. The next PRIA conference which Marc will attend is scheduled for February 2019 in Greenville, South Carolina.
