Registration Sticker Elinination
Effective December 31, 2016, the Pennsylvania epartment of Transportation (PennDOT) will no longer issue vehicle registration stickers.
According to PennDOT, elininating the stickers helps to pave the way for PennDOT to make vehicle registration more convenient in the future. For example, customers who renew their vehicle registrations online will be able to print a permanent registration card and, eventually, upload the registration credential to their smartphone or tablet.
