PAN Member Promoted
Stacey Bickel was named system director of medical staff services of Penn Highlands Healthcare in Clearfield County.
She is now working with Dr. Russ Cameron, system chief medical officer and chief medical information officer, and other medical staff coordinators to streamline, standardize and coordinate various medical staff processes across the Penn Highlands Healthcare system. In addition, Stacey is assisting in the development of a centralized medical staff office to drive efficiencies for providers requesting privileges on one or more of the medical staffs within the system.
Stacey has been with Penn Highlands Healthcare since 2005. She started as a benefits assistant in human resources in the DuBois office. In August 2007, she was the administrative assistant to the chief medical officer and credentialing specialist before accepting the role of executive secretary to the president at Penn Highlands Clearfield in November 2012.
Nearly two years later, Stacey became the executive assistant to the CEO and CFO at Penn Highlands Healthcare unti accepting her current position.
Stacey has an associate's degree in office administration from the Bradford School in Pittsburgh. She earned a certification as a provider credentialing specialst from the National Association of Medical Staff Providers. In addition, to her membership in PAN, Stacey is also a member of the National Association of Medical Staff Providers and the Northwest Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of Medical Staff Providers.
She and her husband, Justin, live in Clearfield County with their two children, Ashtyn and Trenton.
