If you are leaving your job, don't forget to take your notary journal and stamp with you.

although your employer may have purchased your journal and stamp for you, the commission is in your name and therefore, the notary commission and equipment belong to you. You may, however, leave a photocopy of your journal with your employer, if asked. You may be required to reimburse your employer for some costs if you signed a mutual agreement to that effect.
