Beaver County Welcomes New Recorder of Deeds
Ron Alberti is the first new Recorder of Deeds in Beaver County in 25 years. He served as the chief deputy recorder of deeds for nearly eight years after a 30-year career in real estate.
During his tenure as chief deputy recorder of deeds, Alberti worked to ensure all documents pertaining to real estate in the county, dating back to the 1800s, were properly maintained. He developed relationships with other departments and continues his commitment to continue the standard of service the public expects from the recorder's office.
He is the treasurer of the Beaver Falls Chapter of the Wolves, which raises funds to provide college scholarships for local high school students, and previously served as one of the elected auditors for Chippewa Township. He has held memberships in the Beaver Falls turners, Elks and Owls Clubs, and served on the finance council of the former Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Darlington.
The recorder of deeds position maintains public records related to real estate ownership, files and certifies veteran discharges, swears in Pennsylvania notaries, collects and disburses local municipal and school district property taxes and collects other county funds and fees.
He resides with his wife in Chippwea Township.
