All Pennsylvania notaries are required to obtain three hours of notary education BEFORE completing their notary public applications. this mandate includes those individuals who were exempt from education because they were notaries on July 1, 2003. 

PAN's First Time Notary and Notary Reappointment live seminars and Bastic Education Online meet the state requirements for education. PAN's Everyday Notary Challenges Seminar (offered in conjunction with the First Time Notary Seminar) does not fulfill the state's education requirement.
